Doomed primary is captured on camera

THE Hill Primary School in Blairgowrie is closing at the end of the current school year after serving the community for 130 years. Former pupil and photography student Ritchie Patton thought it would be a good idea to document some of the past pupils and teachers from the school in a photography book.

He made contact with ex pupils and teachers and invited them to attend a photoshoot over the Christmas holidays.

Ritchie used many locations around the school and simulated activities that all ex pupils would be able to relate to. Ritchie would like to thank all those who have made the book possible, from the staff at the school, to the models and finally to Primary 7 pupil Marc Nicoll who helped him set up and move his equipment.
