Mystery litter picker

DEAR Editor, – I read with interest your article related to the clean up of the riverside in Blairgowrie.

There was a suggestion someone must have been collecting the litter as it was much cleaner along the river bank this spring.

I would like to let you know that my business partner Rosemary Cranna has been taking bags down to the riverside each day when she has been walking our Springer Spaniel. ( I have been know to assist on occasions!) Each day she has collected bottels, paper, drinks cans and more in order to preserve the beauty of out wonderful river bank. I think you will find she is the mystery litter picker.

We totally support the notion of everyone taking care of our environment .
