Crop circle visitors asked to stay away

THE owners of farmland on which a 250m long crop circle has been etched have asked visitors to keep their distance.

Bill and Sally Anne Spence, who own Berry Croft Farm in Oxfordshire, have said that hundreds of people are trampling their crops to get a good look at the crop circle, which is in the shape of a jellyfish.

Speaking to the BBC, the couple said: "We have not given people permission to walk on our land."

They added that they were worried about damage done by people trampling their crops.

Mrs Spence added that the damage done by whoever created the crop circle was estimated at around £600 and that the flattened crops were now useless.

She said: "People can get a better view from the air."

Mrs Spence said that she was not interested in tracking down those responsible for the giant jellyfish and would not be contacting local police.

The couple have had to deal with mysterious crop circles appearing on their land, but they said the current one is probably the most spectacular.
