Salmond branded 'El Presidente'

Alex Salmond was branded "El Presidente" as Liberal Democrats accused the SNP Government of a power grab.

Liberal Democrat MEP George Lyon claimed the First Minister was a "man obsessed with power and control".

He attacked the SNP leader as Liberal Democrats overwhelmingly backed a motion claiming that under the Nationalist administration Scotland had become one of the most centralised countries in Europe.
