LOCAL traders and artists are being invited to help Balhousie Coupar Angus Care Home celebrate its first birthday on Saturday, July 21, when the community will come together for a family gala day.
The care home, which is located on Meadowside Close, will open its doors to family, friends and local people to mark its anniversary.
£10 spaces are available for anyone selling crafts, art work, home baking, books, bric-a-brac, fruit and other produce. There will also be treats including ice cream and local strawberries and cream.
The gala day gets underway at 2pm and will finish at 4.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and admission is free of charge.
Care Home Manager Lynda Oswald said: “Balhousie Coupar Angus Care Home has been welcomed into the community in the town so we are looking forward to opening our doors to everyone and giving them the chance to enjoy a family day out with our residents and staff to celebrate our first year.
“We already have a number of stalls arranged, including jewellery, paintings, books, fruit and veg and of course ice cream, but we are looking for more so if anyone would like to come along and sell their wares on July 21 we’d be pleased to hear from them.”
