A GROUP of East Perthshire men are taking on the challenge of a Tough Mudder event this weekend.
The team are competing in the event in memory of their friend Aaron Black who took his own life last year after suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by the special forces to test the all-round strength, stamina, determination and camaraderie or participants.
Team Blackswan is made up of local lads Terry Comiskey, his brother Brendan Comiskey, Kevan McVey, Sean Henvey, Garry Patterson, Stephen O’Hare and John Beattie.
They will be raising money for Help for Heroes, which provides direct, practical support to wounded, injured and sick service personnel and their families.
Terry Comiskey said: “I think everyone is looking forward to taking part but maybe dreading it a little bit too!
“If anyone would like to support us we have a charity page set up - www.bmycharity.com/RIPAaronblack.”
