Blairgowrie care home wins top competition

ROSEMOUNT Care Home in Blairgowrie has beaten over 100 entrants in the Four Seasons Health Care 2009 Garden Competition.

Staff, residents and relatives were extremely pleased that their work had been recognised by the visiting judges. They spent six months transforming the garden from a concrete patio to a sensory, colourful, practical garden and their plans, designs and hard work led to them being chosen as the Scottish winners of this competition.

The garden was judged, photographed, and written about during the judging process.

The home has now received their prize of Pepe wooden planters for the garden. They thank all who helped or donated items and time towards the project and are looking forward to this year's competition and their aim of winning the national prize.
