Reward for missing Alyth dog

Minime

AN ALYTH woman has issued an emotional appeal in an attempt to track down her lost pet.

Maggie Saunders, of Drummalzeoch, Netherton, contacted the Blairgowrie Advertiser this week after her six-year-old Jack Russell, Minime, disappeared whilst walking on Lethendy Hill, outside Blairgowrie.

The East Perthshire resident said she has felt “bereft” since the unfortunate incident last week.

She continued: “I’m trying to move heaven and earth to trace her.

“Minime is small, white, very compact and dynamic, intelligent, affectionate and friendly.

“She has large keen eyes, tall pointy ears, a brown head and a brown patch at the base of her tail.

“I have spent days on the hill searching, calling, and listening, but to no avail.

“I’m just hoping some kind soul has come across her, taken her in, and is looking after her until we can be reunited.

“She means everything to me and I am totally bereft at her disappearance,” she said.

Mr Saunders said she’s willing to offer a reward to anyone who’s found Minime.

She has asked for people to email maggie.pootel@btinternet.com to make further arrangements.
